SM City Bacolod is one of the new breed of SM malls. SM was known for building huge generic and boring boxes but recently they began to innovate. (Innovate, yes, but not to the extent of how the Ayalas innovate theirs ;p). SM Bacolod is Bacolod's own and smaller version of the Mall of Asia.
The interior reminds me of a small modern airport terminal.

The elevated walkway patterned after the Golden Gate Bridge is also home to some shops. It looks modern and glassy, doesn't it?

It's common for Filipinos to be uziceros, haha. Okay, they can't wait for the doors to open! :D
Uzicero or not, everyone's happy about the new SM in Bacolod. Oh my, a new tambay spot? Lol! Think positive, it's a new tourist destination (read: Tourist destination!)
I originally thought those hanging things were pumpkins, haha. Hey, it's not Halloween yet! And oh, that Masskara Festival mural on the background looks really good.

Victoria Plaza Davao
Victoria Plaza is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) malls in the city of Davao. One thing, it's really very old as evidenced by how it looks. Eww. It desperately needs a facelift! To the management of Victoria Plaza, please don't wait for the mall to yell, "Hey, I need a fresh coat of paint" or stage a mass protest by inviting all the roaches, rats and spiders in town. Give it it's well deserved renovation! Now na! Sayang naman. It's an old structure and it needs to last even longer. :p
